Bobby, the 37-year-old owner of a coffee shop in Thailand’s Lumpang province, has created a unique coffee blend. Bobby’s experience in agricultural product processing enabled him to design his ‘chili coffee’.
He uses best quality coffee beans, from Lumpang and Chiangrai, and blends them with a new hybrid chili, a combination of pepper and chili which is not as hot as some. When customers drink the coffee through a straw, they enjoy the subtle blend of flavours. As well as the delicious taste, Capsaicin from the chili is good for your health, helping to reduce fats in blood vessels. This tasty pick-me-up costs only 35 baht per serving, making it popular among local coffee lovers.
